"April Fool" is a vessel that has been well-maintained by her meticulous owner. She is the last of the twelve 36' Motoryacht models built by Grand Banks (Hull #1120). This layout gives you a much better aft deck than the classic and two Queen-style staterooms. She is in top shape with low hours, updated electronics, recent bright-work and new custom Bimini top's for the flybrige and Aft deck, connected and fully enclosed in Eisenglass.

Vessel Walkthrough

Vessel Walkthrough

"April Fool" is the Motoryacht model of the Grand Banks 36. The major difference with the Motoryacht is that the aft master stateroom has full headroom across the full beam of the boat. Instead of the walk around deck style of the trunk cabin GB, the Motoryacht has a full beam aft deck, often called a sundeck style, a few steps up from the side decks. This makes the master stateroom feel much larger and gives more versatility to the aft deck.

The Salon features a large L-shaped settee on the starboard side aft with storage below, covered in green ultra suede and a Grand Banks Hi-Lo teak table for dining. Window screens are installed on all opening windows in the Salon. Forward of the settee is the steering station which is totally outfitted with full controls and gauges for both engines. The electrical panel with 12V and 110V circuit breakers for all equipment on board is also located in this area.

Master Stateroom

The Master Stateroom is aft and very private featuring a centerline walk-around berth with large hanging locker space and many drawers and cabinets for addition storage. There are opening ports located both port and starboard for ventilation. The Master Head is split with the head on the port side and the seperate stall shower on the starboard side. The Head features a Vacuflush freshwater toilet, Corian countertop and sink and lots of storage space.

The stateroom features opening ports both port and starboard, an overhead hatch for additional ventilation, large hanging locker space and lots of drawers and lockers for additional storage. The Guest Head and stall shower are split with the head on the starboard side and the stall shower on the port side. The Head features a Corian countertop and sink with lots of storage. This split head arrangement is fantastic as one person can be in one room and another in the other.
