In keeping with many of the Hood Companies habits of continual improvement, AUDREY, being the last LH62 built, is in so many ways arguably the best Little Harbor 62 built and factoring the latest investment by her present owner, without debate, THE best of the 62's. She is gorgeous and continually cared for, and this very handsome and seriously upgraded and newly refit Little Harbor 62 is ready to sail, all the while offering four wonderful staterooms, elegance, offshore capability and so much more. She has been maintained by a very competent Captain and mate and has all of the hallmark features one would expect in a Ted Hood design such as proper ergonomics, hull ports to open the interior spaces below, wonderful flow . Her forward and aft staterooms have been modified and modernized to a very hi level of finish, designed by Ted Fontaine and worthy of mention due to the superb design and build out along with finish employed to make her exceptional.

Accommodations and Layout

AUDREY sleeps eight comfortably in four private ensuite staterooms. Her interior joiner work is varnished teak and is in exceptional condition with high gloss and flat finish yielding an open and light interior with offsets that accentuate her heritage. Teak and holly floorboards are all insulated, removable and all dogged, allowing tremendous access to the interior of the bilges. There is exceptional light and ventilation throughout provided by seven deck hatches, twelve dorade vents, solid cabin windows, and opening portholes in hull and cabin side. Fitted sheets, new mattresses and bedding throughout.

Forward Stateroom

The forward stateroom is luxurious and newly refurbished with a design by Ted Fontaine, and beautifully crafted by Woodworks in Antigua, and is the only LH62 with a centerline queen, and generous storage underneath. There is a hanging locker, two large drawers and several front opening lockers. Aft and to starboard is a custom head with shower. A sliding companionway-type hatch with dodger can be left open in inclement weather.

Guest Staterooms

Further aft are port and starboard guest staterooms. PORT CABIN The port cabin has upper and lower bunks, a large hanging locker and front opening lockers. There is a guest/day head and shower accessible from both the cabin and main salon. The starboard cabin has twin single berths with nightstand, and hanging locker with numerous front opening lockers. There is a private head forward with separate shower stall.

Main Salon

The main salon is a focal point for the Little Harbor 62. Her generous beam, eight large opening hull ports and multiple cabin windows provide an unusually light, airy and expansive living area with great visibility outside, even when seated.
To starboard is an L-shaped dining area with a large teak table with fold-up leaves. Two fold-up chairs supplement seating capacity at table. Aft of the dining area is a full bar area with bottle, dish and glass storage.
To port is a long, L shaped settee with coffee table. An entertainment bureau with stereo and storage space is forward on centerline.
Moving aft to port is the aft facing navigation station with chair, book shelves and numerous storage lockers. The ship's new main electrical panels and switch controls are integrated into this area for easy access.

Master Stateroom

A passageway leads aft to the master stateroom, which features a newly modified large berth on center, couch to starboard and hanging locker and shelf to port. There are two large hanging lockers and an abundance of bookshelves, drawers and front-opening lockers. A private head is aft with separate shower stall and another head is forward, both to starboard. Both of the heads have sinks, lovely carpentry, ceramic tile floors, and solid teak countertops. In addition, six opening portholes.

Cockpit

On deck, the custom designed cockpit was positioned as low as possible to provide protection when sailing or dining on deck and to maintain a beautiful profile appearance from afar. There is comfortable seating with tall backrests for up to eight at a fixed teak dining table that can be extended when needed. Access to the side decks is via cutouts in the coaming, from the companionway without climbing over the coaming.

Galley

The U shaped galley is conveniently located aft of the dining area, to starboard, with a practical sea-going layout, numerous drawer and lockers with top-loading refrigerator, freezer and separate drink box.
