Sensational classic cruiser from Rampart, built of mahogany on oak ( decks epoxy-painted 2012 ), in remarkably good condition and in present ownership for 27 years. New Perkins 135s fitted in 2004 and spotlessly clean, new electronics and upholstery, and seriously lovely. Has, and will make, an exceptional live-aboard for Northern climes, and equally suited to coastal and inland work.

I cannot do justice to how lovely this highly practical, super-solid and seaworthy cruising motor-yacht is. Her highly knowledgeable Owners have been wonderfully particular in her maintenance and upkeep; and their long period of ownership shows how well-matched they have found her for their adventuring. Her bilges are spotlessly clean and dry – a testament to her initial massive strength at build. There is a survey available, and several articles in which she is featured – which we would be happy to send on. She should be high on the shopping list for anyone looking for a beautifully-presented wooden yacht, which can be happily lived on for 365 days of the year, and suits any plans for Northern Europe – be they offshore, inshore or inland. Everything is fully in commission, but we note that her Owners personal tools, possessions and effects will be going with them on to the next great adventure.
A wonderful live-aboard yacht – good both at sea and on canals. We have cruised Poland (the Baltic), the German coast and canals, Belgian coast and canals, French canals, Paris and all North and West coasts, including Brittany, down to La Rochelle, and the Channel Islands. Extras include an overall winter cover and excellent heating. We have found TUDORA very comfortable, with large amounts of storage for longer periods spent on board, and we have had her re-upholstered and observed a continuous and continuing schedule of maintenance and upgrading/renewal as required.
RCD Status: Our understanding is that the yacht is exempt from the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC (Recreational Craft Directive) as she was built and placed into use within the EU prior to 1998.
