DESCRIPTION

Preliminary Listing – Interior Photos To Follow

GENERAL:

NAIADE is the 5th Swan 112 launched in 2003 and has had 2 owners and extremely low hours of use since new. This said NAIADE was involved in an incident that saw her significantly damaged. In 2014 she was shipped to Palma de Mallorca for repairs. Nautor’s Swan was retained to provide engineering expertise through all repairs. From March 2015 through summer 2016, NAIADE was rebuilt substantially to include structural laminate work to the hull as well as every system being renewed or refitted. The result is a virtually new yacht now available with a Nautor stamp of approval for the structural work. It can be argued that NAIADE is now in better than new condition and available for less than 50% of new cost.

NAIADE benefits from a classic, well balanced and voluminous layout for 6 guests aft and up to 6 crew forward. The interior is in remarkably good condition reflecting her light use over the last years. She is finished in the finest Burmese teak, hand rubbed and varnished which has been sparingly used and well maintained since launching. No artwork or attachments in the wood. High quality fittings and marbles throughout. The interior décor and finish is classically nautical and elegant.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

Designed for 6 Owners/Guests in 3 double staterooms aft. Owners stateroom is aft and full beam with his and her separate heads. There is a central king sized berth with a sofa on the starboard side and a desk to port, hanging lockers and drawers. Dual overhead hatches and hull ports allow ample light and ventilation. Floors are teak and holly. Both heads are fitted with shower, head and washbasin area with hand bidet.

The saloon is arranged on 2 levels with the upper saloon accessing the cockpit. The upper saloon has a u-shaped seating area portside and proper navigation and communication station on starboard side. There is a bar and storage. The lower saloon is a more formal area with dining table on starboard and lounging area to port with a hidden TV. Access to the engine room through a hidden panel is on portside.

Forward of the saloon is the galley and crew mess with seating for 5 and washer and dryer fitted under seating. The galley includes and U shaped counter in corion that has centered sinks and new appliances (2016). Refrigeration includes 2 new 2016 standup commercial household units built in aft of galley. There are 2 crew cabins with 3 singles berths in each plus 2 heads and showers forward of the galley/mess area.

The Swan 112 has one of the largest and best designed engine rooms of any sailing yacht making maintenance work easier and more effective.
