One of the last yachts designed and built by Carlos Riva at his famed yard in Sarnico Italy, CALEO  represents the timeless style and tradition of original Riva yachts. The low profile and wide beam greatly enhances her handling, seaworthiness and overall performance. The use of heavy gauge stainless steel and rosewood reflects the high standard to which this yacht was built.

She sleeps 6 comfortably in three staterooms, each with ensuite head & shower and separate crew quarters for two.  The master stateroom, entered via a private stairway aft in the salon, features a large queen berth, private ensuite head and plenty of storage.  A curved stairway forward in the salon, starboard of the helm, leads below to a unique, circular landing.  Starboard is the fully-equipped galley.  The VIP stateroom is forward and features a taped double berth ensuite head & shower and hanging and drawer storage.  The third stateroom, on the port side, is furnished with twin perpendicular berths a head & shower which also serves as the day head.  Separate crew quarters with twin berths, head & shower and wash basin are located in the bow, accessed from an outside hatch.  The aft deck with hi-low dining table and four chairs is large and comfortable, covered by a canopy that may be fully enclosed.  Above, the spacious fly bridge features a steering station forward, Bimini Top, and plenty of bench seating.

Forward, the VIP with private head and shower is furnished with tapered double berth.

The master stateroom is accessed by a private staircase aft in the salon.  Excellently designed, it offers a full queen berth, plenty of storage and ensuite head & shower.

The fly bridge is accessed from the aft deck via stainless and wood ladder.  The upper helm with full electronics is forward.   Featured is a Bimini top with full aft enclosure, bench seating, and a drink refrigerator.  A 13’ Nautic dinghy is aft.

Salesman's Comments

CALEO is a 60’ Riva Super Corsaro, Hull # 41, and is one of the last yachts built by the Riva yard in Sarnico, Italy by Carlos Riva in 1988. “Super” signifies that the boats’ power was increased with twin 810 HP V10 turbocharged MAN Diesels. The boat was purchased by its present owner outside Venice, Italy in 2010.  CALEO represents the finest quality in timeless styling and accommodations.

The current owner having owned an Aquarama Special, considered to be one of the finest wooden runabouts ever built desired a cruising yacht with the same classic design and integrity.  Knowing of the Corsaro through Riva’s “Rivarama”, a publication which was sent to owners, he decided, after viewing many newer motor yachts, that it was the ideal yacht for him and his family.

Nothing on the yacht went un-addressed.  The interior was completely replaced with a new décor.  Ward’s Marine Electric rewired the yacht for North American 110 volt, 60 cycle power and the sanitation system was reworked to meet Coast Guard standards.  Great care and expense was required make CALEO the finest cruising yacht of its size and price point.
