Broker's Comments

With heavy-duty written all over her, this Broom 50 is very sturdily put together. Her teak interior sits inside a fine John Bennett hull, and the engine and generator space is clean and well laid-out.

Owner's Comments

I had been looking for the best of all worlds for some time.  A comfortable, spacious and well-built boat with excellent off shore abilities and inland waterway potential seemed a difficult slot to fill, but then Mojito came along and was the obvious choice.  She had always been well maintained, but a little general tidying and an upgrade to the electronics in 2015 was undertaken to keep her up to speed.

The plan was to spend some time looking at the southern UK and Channel ports, investigating the inland waterways when they took our fancy.  Her C12 Cats were perfect for this with big, ‘get out of trouble’ grunt when needed, but also good low speed economy (6 knots @ 5 l/hr per engine) for the rivers.

However, circumstances change and little of this happened.  My boating is now taking a different direction and Mojito is ready to go.
