ABOUT SAIL-A-VIE

Quality built and extremely well maintained spacious houseboat on top location.

Sail-A-Vie is offered with an individual Gold  Coast Yacht Club debenture.

She offers ample in- and outdoor living space for a family with 3 children and a helper.  3 levels of living space which no HKG apartment could provide: 4 double bedrooms and 1 helper room. 4 bathrooms on the lower deck.

The first and current owners were much  involved  during the built period  and insisted on using the best materials imaginable. Consequently they succeeded extremely well in creating an elegant , versatile over 3000 sq ft family boat that withstood the time.
The cabinettery throughout the entire boat is beautifully handcrafted and there is more storage space on board than you could dream off in a 3 story house.  The oiled teak decks combined with  neutral tones in and outside give the boat a distinct chique appearance.

The entrance is at the main deck which features a well equipped kitchen with bar and open living which leads to the aft balcony,  large enough for al frescoe dining for 6. From the aft balcony 2 curved staircases lead down to a swimming platform and 1 staircase leads to the upperdeck.

The indoor wheel house area  -accessed through a beautiful wooden spiral staircase from the living-
currently serves as office cum dining room and has a floor space of over 30 sq meters with harmonica doors opening to a 10x5 meter teak aft deck with a huge dining table and a big BBQ, fridges and a sink, creating the perfect ambience for a good in/outdoor party.

The lower floor is carpeted throughout;  aft is the master ensuite with an unusually big his/her walk in closet. There are 2 twin bedrooms ensuite,  a large forward V shaped guest/tv room, a helper room or dedicated office space and a separate laundry area and a large separate bathroom/dayhead.

The front deck offers another seating area around an oblong table. Here you will find more deck storage space.
