ABOUT OREGON NATIVE

UNDER OFFER

‚ÄčThe Oyster 53 is a truly fantastic long distance blue water cruiser, capable of cruising at 8+ knots with just a minimum number of crew. This particular example is for sale by only her second owner and has benefitted by constant upgrading over the years including replacement of engine; AC; refrigeration and freezer system; AC and DC panels; very recent Flag Blue painted topsides; removal of original teak decks with new nonskid; 2013 paint on all deck surfaces...the list goes on. A very functional boat with all major systems in good working order. Other cruising amenities include stainless davits and watermaker. The layout below features an island berth aft in the owners cabin with walkthrus in both galley and through head and shower. Nice aft facing Nav station to port of companionway with port settee and bar forward. To starboard is large curved settee anchored by a large table with two drop down leaves. Going forward to starboard is a generous one over one cabin with head and ensuite shower to port and all the way forward is the guest VIP cabin also with island berth. Plenty of natural light and ventilation with deck prisms; opening ports and hatches and signature Oyster forward opening raised salon windows port and starboards in main salon. Set up for shorthanded sailing and offshore passage making but an excellent family boat or cruising layout for two couples.

This 53 features a Sheel (shoal draft) Keel keeping draft down to only 5' 6"! Cutter rigged sloop with in-mast furling. Full canvas package and lots of cruising gear including tools make this a very attractive offering in the Blue Water Cruising market.

Realistically priced and conveniently located in Newport, Rhode Island. We invite your inquiry and inspection. Please contact Oyster Brokerage for details of this fine yacht.
