Yacht Introduction & Description

'Dream' is best described as a quality production yacht, designed by internationally renowned Naval Architect Bill Dixon and constructed in the Tashing Yacht Co. shipyard in Taiwan. Designed along the lines of a Tayana, this blue water cruiser has records of high performance racing and also long distance blue water cruising capabilities

The vessel is built to a high specification of construction and internal fittings. The yacht design offers a scoop teak-laid transom with center cockpit and Sparcraft Label 3-spreader mast.

Recently received servicing and maintenance, description of jobs is provided

The mast was lifted at Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club shipyard in 2005, it was fully serviced and dye tested

Maintenance & Servicing Work Details

The owners rebuilt the engine in 2011 and it has been little used since then.
All the cylinder linings were replaced with original parts purchased from Yanmar in Japan.
Lifeline safety system: all the stanchions pulled in 2011 and the pins replaced with new stainless steel.
Interior has been kept dry with dehumidifier.  
Hull is in very good shape - Haul out and new antifoul completed September 2015. All thru-hulls functional.
Watermaker has never been used (remains in a stored state).

Most current maintenance and servicing work (April 2016):
- Hydraulics - full service and repair
- Repaired a leaking fuel tank
- Replaced old flooring with new flooring
- Locker veneers replaced with new
- Polished foggy salon windows
- Bedded chain plate covers
- Bedded deck fittings and hardware, including filler tubes, pad eyes, aft chain plate port side
- Re-bedded starboard aft stay and port forward stanchion bases
- Re-bedded bolts through toe rail
