Yacht Introduction & Description
According to her current owner,
"Minnie is a great fun and fast boat to sail and is still very competitive against more modern larger boats."
Her sister ship “Tow Truck” won the Sydney to Hobart yacht race in her respective division in 2008 and 2009.
She is easy to sail fast with upwind polars around 7.3 knots and downwind she gets into double figures quite easily and top speeds for the design have been recorded in the mid twenties.
The rig has been de tensioned in-between races to avoid stress on the hull and prior to 2010 she was always dry sailed
A viewing is highly recommended
