With the volume, stability & engineering associated with larger yachts, this partly built JFA 41m features 6 staterooms and a perfect balance of interior and exterior areas ensuring optimum guest comfort, safety and privacy for long ocean passages while providing easy access to the water and tenders.  Designed by Overing Yacht Design, with styling by Michael Kirschstein, "GLOBAL EXPLORER" is available to be finished to an owner's personal taste and will result in a superb 41m luxury exploration yacht.

She has a generous volume of 420 GRT with an exceptionally big full beam master suite on the main deck as well as four guest suites below deck. There are several exterior deck areas for relaxing, varying from the aft deck to the bridge deck aft, a nice cosy area forward of the bridge and also a vast sundeck with Jacuzzi, sun pad, wet bar area and still plenty of clear deck space aft for sun loungers.

Her construction was started at INACE in Brazil. The current Owner then decided to move the vessel to JFA in France for them to finish her off to the highest standards.

The vessel is well advanced and can be finished at JFA within 12 months of acquisition.

Access to the sundeck is via an exterior staircase from the aft upper deck. Forward is bench seating for taking in the panoramic views. Behind this are a jacuzzi and four sunpads. To port there is a full wet bar complete with bar stools and a BBQ. Further aft is a comfortable seating area with cocktail tables and an impressive set of awnings that provide shade.

On the foredeck comfortable bench seating with tables and five large sunpads offer further exterior relaxing options. This area can be shaded if required. The walk around bridge has excellent visibility with port and starboard bridge wing control stations for easier docking. In addition to the two helm seats there is raised bench seating with coffee table, ideal for guests wanting to visit the bridge whilst in navigation.

The ship’s office is aft starboard. Aft of the bridge to port is the captain’s cabin and the crew stairs that service all decks. A door leads to the upper deck lobby with the guest stairway leading to all decks. A day head with shower is located in this area.

Aft is the sky lounge where a built-in sofa and four armchairs with occasional tables provide intimate spaces for conversation. This is a relaxed environment for enjoying the stunning views out of the picture windows or a place to gather to watch movies on the flatscreen TV that pops up from the aft cabinets. The room is centred by a large coffee table. If requested, a pull out sofa bed could be added to this area to accommodate any additional guests; there is a small wardrobe in the lobby.

Forward of the sky lounge to port is a pantry where the dumb waiter is accessed. This pantry is equipped with a sink and dishwasher, a fridge/ice-maker is located just inside the sky lounge.  Aft doors lead onto the aft bridge deck with its intimate seating area. A small service station is on the port side. Aft are the guest and crew tenders and crane. The owner has the option to swap the crew tender for jet skis. Once the tenders are removed this whole area can be shaded.

On the bow is the working area with mooring cleats and the anchor windlasses. Aft of this is a large storage locker. This area doubles as an exterior crew space to comply with MLC 2006.

The 73m2 owner’s suite located forward is a very generous space for a yacht of this size. The double bed faces forward and is on the centreline of the vessel, six picture windows provide natural light.  The bed faces a wall mounted flatscreen TV. Forward to port is an en-suite bathroom. This bathroom has a bathtub, WC, bidet and sink and is beautifully fitted out in polished marble. To starboard is a

similar arrangement with a large shower stall in lieu of the bathtub. Aft of the cabin to port is a dressing room with full wardrobes, a huge chest of drawers, a dressing table and a large full length mirror.

Aft of the cabin to starboard is the owner’s lounge/study. A sofa and armchairs with coffee table provide an area for private relaxation. There is a flatscreen TV, and further aft are a desk and bookshelves.  A hidden doorway leads into the crew stairway for private service. This room is bathed in natural light from the six picture windows. Aft of the owner’s suite is the main deck lobby, guest stairs and a dayhead. Outside an exterior staircase leads to the upper deck.

To port is the fully equipped galley with access to the crew stairway. A dumb waiter delivers food to the upper and sun decks. Outside an exterior staircase leads to the upper deck. Aft is the dining room where a large table seats 12, there is a wine chiller and storage cabinets are all around for glassware and table service.  A central island separates the dining area from the salon while keeping the space open and flowing, perfect for entertaining. A flatscreen TV pops up from the cabinet in the island facing the salon. The salon comfortably holds two conversation areas each consisting of a sofa, an armchair, an ottoman and a large coffee table.  A desk is situated to the port side. Again large windows make light and airy.

Double sliding glass doors lead out onto the aft deck where a dining table seats 10, or 12 with a different table configuration. A fridge is located here. There is a large hydraulic boarding gangway on the on the aft port quarter, which can service stern-to berthing. Stairs on each side lead down to the bathing

platform giving easy access to the water and to and from tenders. There is a shower on this platform.  The transom door leads to the lazarette where water sports equipment can be kept. There is a set of sea stairs which attaches at the side entry doors on either side of the vessel for alongside berthing.

A generous passageway gives access to the guest suites, all of which benefit from state of the art entertainment systems.  Forward are two twin cabins, one to starboard and its mirror image to port. There is a closet space and a TV. The bathrooms are with shower, WC and basin, and the floors and countertops are finished in polished marble.  Aft in the guest sleeping area are two VIP cabins, one port, one starboard, with double beds and a desk. There is plenty of closet space and a TV. The en-suite bathrooms have a bathtub, WC and sink.  The floors and countertops are polished marble.

Forward of these guest suites through the watertight door is the fifth guest cabin with a double bed, a closet and TV. The bathroom has a shower stall, WC and sink. The floor and countertop are marble.

The crew area is accessed through a discreet door and passageway outside this cabin for easy service.
