Standard 6-berth B-40 layout with gloss varnished mahogany Salon with gloss varnished mahogany hull ceilings. The Forward Cabin and Head are Herreshoff style with white bulkheads and gloss varnished mahogany cabinet doors, trim and hull ceilings. Teak and holly cabin sole.
The Forward Cabin features a V-berth with filler to make a double, varnished mahogany shelves over each berth and drop front and storage below. Aft to starboard are two large hanging lockers and to port is a six drawer/drop front bureau. The anchor locker is accessed forward in this cabin. A door separates the Forward Cabin from the rest of the interior.
Next aft to port is the enclosed Head with formica counter top, SS sink with hot/cold pressure water, tile cabin sole and Wilcox Crittendon toilet. There is also a laundry hamper, mahogany locker with six drawers for personal gear and opening portlight. Opposite to starboard is a large storage locker.
The Salon features pilot berths to port and starboard with mahogany shelves over for gear storage. There are three drawers under each pilot berth and pull-out transom berths port and starboard. A varnished mahogany drop-leaf table is on center line. Forward on the port bulkhead is a varnished mahogany bookshelf. A liquor locker is built into the starboard forward bulkhead.
The Galley/Nav Station is next aft. To port is the gimballed Shipmate 3-burner propane stove with oven and cutting board cover. Along the aft bulkhead is a large locker for pot and pan storage, double SS sink with hot and cold pressure water, and mahogany glass rack and three shelf cubby for storage. To starboard is the top opening SS lined icebox with Adler Barbour 12VDC refrigeration. The counter top over this area serves as the Nav Station with built in chart storage cabinet overhead. The electrical panel is aft to starboard.
