With her distinctive lines, spacious layout, and standard IPS drives, the Tiara 3500 Sovran provides uncommon luxury and comfort for the cruising couple. Hardtop cruisers like the Sovran have grown in popularity in the past several years thanks to their weather-protected—often climate-controlled—helms and sociable deck layouts. With the 3500 Sovran, a wide 12-foot, 11-inch beam adds another appealing feature: space, and lots of it. Indeed, the cockpit and helm deck—with combined seating for ten—are larger and more comfortable than any boat in her class. Below, the Sovran’s cabin is unusually large for a boat this size. Because pod drives require less engine room space than conventional inboards, the interior of the 3500 has been expanded aft to include a mid-cabin media room complete with facing lounge seats (convertible to a berth) and a wall-mounted 26" TV. The portside head has a separate stall shower, and the interior is finished with high-gloss woodwork, premium galley appliances, and an elegant hardwood sole. The cockpit sole lifts electrically for access to the engine compartment.  Hull freeboard is high for a 35-footer. Cruise at 25–26 knots (30+ top) with Volvo 300hp IPS diesels (with joystick controls).

Manufacturer Provided Description

The 3500 Sovran?s roominess is made possible by its use of revolutionary Volvo IPS power train technology. Like the larger 3900 and 4300 Sovrans, the 3500 Sovran is designed to take full advantage of IPS ? including the IPS joystick control ? for precise handling, less noise, no exhaust fumes and greater fuel efficiency. The 3500 is available in either gas and diesel power. The Volvo IPS Joystick control puts unmatched low-speed maneuverability at your fingertips. With a single movement of the IPS Joystick, you command the IPS propulsion units to respond in any direction. This gives you the power to maintain control of your 3500 during tight-quarter docking, coming about, reversing or even going straight sideways ? all without the need for bow thrusters. Inside, Tiara designers have created a generously open space and a distinctive floor plan. The master stateroom is forward, complete with full-sized island berth, abundant storage and hanging lockers. The galley lies open to the generous and flexible salon. Aft on the port side is the wet head with separate vanity. Aft to starboard, the salon steps down to a lounging area that?s ideal for unwinding with a movie, book or gaming for the kids or adults. This enjoyable area rivals entertainment centers of much larger yachts and can convert to berths for kids or guests.
