This yacht is ready for you to step aboard and head north for the summer. Current owners have done some excellent work in Port Townsend this year - their change of plans is your gain!

Accommodations

Spacious and light filled master stateroom is aft on the main deck with window and dutch-door with adjoining head and shower. Up to main salon, galley and lower/main helm. Spiral staircase leads to forward accomodations and engine room. Sleeps 4 in 2 staterooms.

Distinctive pilothouse profile, wide beam, hard chine, Portuguese Bridge, walk- around decks, spacious Command Bridge for cruising or entertaining. Stand-up walk-in engine room. Elevated decks are fiberglass.

Safe and comfortable transom access or optional gunnel access forward on port or starboard. All stairs throughout. (no ladders).

The salon is very spacious. 6' 7" headroom in salon, galley and lower helm. The interior has new teak and holly flooring.  Staterooms are carpeted with a circular staircase to the V-berth, Italian Marble in the galley and on steps to the aft stateroom.

Salon

The wide body configuration, 6' 7" tall beamed ceilings and custom designed window coverings offers warm and comfortable surroundings with great views. The masterful joinery work is with teak, walnut and mahogany.  Stylish red ultra suede benches and a custom folding dining/coffee table provide function and beauty. A Dickerson Newport propane furnace adds warmth and ambiance in the salon. 

Interior cabinetry is all oak framed. All drawers have oak rails, dovetailed, joined to oak ends with marine plywood bottoms and shaped hardwood faces.  There are new wood blinds and tasteful light fixtures.

Interior paneling is all Bruynzeel plywood with beautifully matched South American Utile Veneer used in owners' stateroom aft and the circular staircase leading from the wheelhouse to the forward cabin.

The Wheelhouse is on one level.  Large helm, exceptional visibility, dual engine controls and instrument gauges.  Panasonic Toughbook laptop with Nobeltec VN510 with radar, sounder & weather, Comnav Autopilot, Compass, Icom VHF radio, Coastal Navigator Depth Finder. Data & Telecommunications wiring throughout vessel.  Large chart drawers are found below the helm.  Tracvision dish.

Canted windows offer fabulous vision and confidence of view for cruising & docking. On beautiful sunny days or extremely limited moorages the Command Bridge beckons to the call. Two wheelhouse sliding doors, port & starboard, offer convenient access to outside decks. Exiting to the aft cabin one door leads to the upper outside decks and the other door leads to the master stateroom.

Construction

Construction by Cape Foulweather Boat Company of Newport, Oregon, SALISHAN is double planked with 7/8" cedar laid diagonally over 1 3/4" x 3 1/2" oak frames and 1 1'14" Mahogany finish planking laid longitudinally with 10 oz. glass cloth laid in Dolphinite between the cedar and mahogany. Phosphorus bronze quilting screws fasten the planking together from the inside. She carries 2000 gallons diesel fuel and 700 gallons water. All drawers have oak rails dovetail joined to oak ends, with marine plywood bottoms and shaped wood faces. Interior paneling is all Bruynzeel wood with beautifully matched South American Utile veneer used in owner’s stateroom aft and the circular stairway leading from the wheelhouse to the forward cabin. From the gunnels up, the yacht is solid fiberglass.

Hull

The teak decks are new in 2009.  The hull is double planked with 7/8" cedar laid horizontally over 1 ¾" x 3 ½" oak frames with 1 ¼" mahogany finish planking longitudinally with a 10 oz. glass cloth laid in Dolphinite between the cedar and mahogany. Phosphorus bronze quilting screws fasten the planking. Handrails and all exterior trim and decks are teak. You will be impressed with skill of the joinery and craftsmanship.
