A stylish performance cruiser
This gentleman's day sailor cruises in style. However, looks can be deceiving. During every stage of design and production the focus has been to create a yacht that is no only good looking, but also extremely fast and easy to sail single handed. The Essence 33 embodies performance, elegance and style.
Beauty in every detail
No beauty needs to be sacrificed to create practicality. When creating the Essence 33 the designers combined their experience with innovative new ideas to keep her lines clean while ensuring her easy handling. The deck and coachroof arrangement typifies this intelligent approach. All the lines, electronics and hydraulics, in and out the mast are neatly stowed out of sight under the coachroof and cockpit coaming. Flush mounted hatches, cleats and recessed fittings also help keep the decks clear and safer. Again ensuring the elegant shape of the Essence 33 is uninterrupted.
Control lines right where you need them. The deck and coachroof have been cleverly designed to hide sheets, halyards and control lines out of view. This makes her not only a joy to behold, but also a safer boat to sail.
Control at the helm
Whilst steering the Essence 33 you will find all you need close at hand. Navigation equipment, auto pilot controls, instruments and winches mounted on the pedestal. The main, genoa, gennaker and/or code 0 sheets are just a step away. Making the Essence 33 the ideal single handed daysailor and an enjoyment to sail.
Versatility is a strenght
The Essence 33 is designed to suit a wide range of demands. Will you opt for manual, electrical or electric rewind winches? Should you choose for a helm or a steering wheel? Will you go green with the electric engine or rather go with a more conventional propulsion with the diesel engine? You may be sailing fully crewed or want a boat that is a pleasure to sail singled handed. Whatever your needs there are options to suit your sailing.
The Essence 33 has been designed and engineered in co-operation with some of the worlds most respected suppliers. Discontinuous rod rigging, with a hydraulic backstay, outhaul and boomvang supporting a two spreader, tapered carbon mast and carbon boom.
Cutting edge design
State-of-the-art design program's and 3D modelling is used to ensure remarkable accuracy and painstaking attention to detail. The u se of the latest technology extends to the Essence 33 with vacuum infusion, sandwich construction with a high-density foam care.
Quality in construction
Strength and stiffness are key features of the Essence 33 that features a interior which is part of the construction, carbon fibre structural girders and longitudinal stringers add to the stiffness of the hull and ensure that the maximum performance can be achieved from the hull and rig. One of the factors that sets Essence Yachts apart from other yachts is the importance given to keeping the weight as low and central as possible. Batteries, water and fuel tanks, engine are all located centrally and low down. The result is a well-balanced yacht that is a pleasure to sail.
The choice is yours
These are just some of the accommodation styles available. The choices extend to look and feel of the interior surfaces. Teak is the most populair choice but a variety of other material can be used to create a personal look. Every yacht can be styled for a specific owner and the expers at Essence Yachts work with each client to ensure they end up with their ideal yacht.
Confidence inspiring engineering
All the way through the Essence 33 you will find examples of clever and efficient installations; whether it is the extremely lightweight and compact Volvo diesel or the optional Mastervolt electric engine with Li-lon batteries, which power the Variprofile propellor. Our design and production teams have the experience and knowledge to build a yacht fit for purpose in every way.
The craftman´s art
The craftsman at the Essence Yard take great pride in their work. The teak deck, caprail, cockpit coaming, interior panels and cabinets are works of which are built to last. A great deal of thought has been given to the practicalities of day sailing and there are numerous clever storage solutions and plenty of stowage extended cruises.
Comfortable and practical
With a double bunk forward and spare berths on port-starboard side. The by Guido de Groot styled interior emphasis on easy of living. The quality in construction remains and the materials and fittings have been selected with an eye to long term durability and fucntionality.
