OVERVIEW

SOVEREIGN is a fantastic yacht that was built to rival the quality and capability of the Northern European pedigree shipyards. She has benefitted from two very conscientious owners. The first, the creator and builder of Sovereign, made sure the project included every skillset and opportunity to be successful. An experienced yachtsman, he did extensive research to locate the best designers, surveyors and shipyard to demonstrate American Yacht Building capabilities.  Cost and time of build were secondary as quality was the number one priority. The second owner pushed even further to have a “state of the art” yacht. Ongoing, regularly scheduled surveys by Patton Marine, a meticulous experienced captain/engineer and crew, and an owner who demands, appreciates and funds the best. Sovereign is ready for her next adventure.

Measuring 1,100 gross tons, SOVEREIGN has more volume than many 60 meter yachts. With this kind of volume, the floor space of over 8,000 square feet provides an exceptional living area that accommodates two master staterooms, an additional four guest staterooms below, and room for 14 crew.  The exceptional spaciousness is most notable in the panoramic sky lounge where the vaulted ceiling reaches nearly 10 feet high.

Her interior features exquisitely detailed woodwork, complimented by warm marble surfaces, elevator access to all floors, a very large tender garage that becomes a beach club and Gym, and multiple salons.  Her exterior has an aggressive profile, large deck spaces, and features a large infinity edge Jacuzzi/pool on the sundeck.

Her 34’ beam and 10’ draft, accompanied by her 4 fin Quantum Zero Speed Stabilizers, provide an exceptionally stable and comfortable ride in almost any sea.  She is ready to explore destinations around the world and will rarely be restricted by weather and sea conditions.

SOVEREIGN has been recognized with the following awards:

  • World Superyacht Awards 2012 - FINALIST
Best Displacement Motor Yacht of 500GT to 1,299GT (approximately 50–59m)
  • Showboats Design Awards 2012 - FINALIST
    Naval Architecture Award: Motor Yachts

 Highlights:

  • 2 Master Staterooms - one on main deck and one on upper bridge deck
  • Infinity edge Jacuzzi/pool on the sundeck
  • ABS classed and MCA compliant for the large yacht commercial code
  • Quantum zero-speed stabilizers
  • Caterpillar power under warranty until June 2018
  • Guest Elevator
  • Massive 1,100 gross ton volume
  • Large tender garage that converts to a Beach Club or Gym
  • Over 8,000 square feet of living space
  • Panoramic sky lounge with vaulted ceilings that reach nearly 10 feet in height

ACCOMMODATIONS

This vessel is designed to carry an owner's party of up to 16 with 6 owner and guest staterooms. Her accommodations consist of two master staterooms, one on the upper deck with 270 degree view. The other is a full beam stateroom on the main deck offering guests incredible views through eight large oval windows.  Below deck there are 4 guest staterooms, consisting of 2 spacious VIP suites with king berths and 2 additional staterooms, offering the flexibility of a full, twin and Pullman berths. The crew accommodations support up to 14 crew members in 7 cabins.

On the lower deck, in addition to the 4 guest staterooms, is an oversized beach club/gym/tender garage in the lazarette with access via a transom door.  This area has an overhead mounted davit for tender transfer, room for several tenders and jet skis, a main machinery space and additional work areas.  It also doubles as a beach club/gym when needed and has lots of space for all of the toys needed on the water or at the beach.

When you enter the yacht’s main aft deck you will find a very large seating area with multiple tables and settees comfortably hosting any sized group.  The collection of settees and tables allows you to enjoy the view from any direction.  Through the main aft doors and past the marbled foyer is an expansive main salon and separate dining area which conveniently resides next to the main deck pantry and ship’s galley.  The forward part of this deck is home to one of the 2 master staterooms.  In the middle of this deck you will find the large open stairwell next to the elevator which gives you two ways to access all other interior decks.  The elevator does not directly access the sundeck allowing a sleeker, more private area; there is elevator access all the way down to the tank deck for crew access.

The upper deck has a panoramic sky lounge area featuring nearly 10 feet of headroom at the center.  This salon is double the size of the main salon and serves as the primary social area of the yacht with incredible views, a large wet bar, a nearby service pantry, and quick access to the upper aft deck.  The upper aft deck has a large, circular alfresco dining table for elegant outdoor dining.  Aft of the table are several large lounges and tables to relax outside in privacy, out of view from the dock.  This deck features the 2nd master stateroom all the way forward as well as the captain's cabin nearby the bridge.

The ship’s bridge is one level up in transition to the incredible sun deck.  The sun deck has even more inviting social areas, including bar chairs, massive elevated forward observation/sun deck, day head, outdoor shower, full service wet, 46" Sunbrite TV, bar and a beautifully tiled, oversized infinity-edge pool/Jacuzzi.  The Jacuzzi and bar area are protected from the sun by a hard top.  (There is also a davit on this deck if a commercial MCA tender becomes necessary for future use.)

Bilge and Fuel Transfer Pneumatic Valve System

All bilge valves are DC Electric/Pneumatic and can be controlled by any SiMon Station (when enabled).

All fuel transfer valves are DC Electric/Pneumatic and can be controlled by any SiMon Station (when enabled).

Fuel Service System

Bulkhead-mounted fuel tank to gravity feed fuel to all machinery.

Fuel is transferred from large aft tanks (with the added crossover valves opened, this equates to one large tank, accounting for half of the total capacity) to the gravity tank by the Alfa Laval (fuel purifier). The gravity tank overflows back to the large aft tanks, thus constantly keeping the gravity tank full to supply fuel to all machinery. This constant fuel exchange between tanks through the Alfa Laval makes the fuel very pure and clean. The Alfa Laval has a sump pump and tank which operates automatically to collect all sludge.

There are another two (2) back up fuel pumps piped for the same purpose. The emergency generator, located on the sun deck, is also piped to the pumps and the Alfa Laval.
