“SENSATION” accommodates up to eight owners/guest in four luxurious en-suite staterooms. Crew accommodations for up to four are located all the way aft below the aft deck area.

Vessel Walkthrough

Welcome aboard “SENSATION” Access to the main deck is thru the port or starboard forward bulwark gates via a seven step “tide ride” boarding stairs. Upon entering the vessel, one immediately sees the subtle and sophisticated design concepts selected by the owners.

The teak covered aft deck offers comfortable “alfresco” dining seating for up to 10 at a large rectangular “hilo” custom high gloss table top that rotates 90° for seating fore and aft or athwartship. A “walk behind” bar is to port with sink, refrigerator & ice maker and three teak finished bar stools. There is a flush-mounted flat screen Plasma TV beyond the bar area. Access to the swim platform is via teak covered steps port or starboard aft.

Entering the main salon thru the stainless steel framed double glass doors one can only appreciate the warm and inviting feeling of the open and very spacious layout; thanks to the “fullbeam” feature of the 112’ Westport series. Several custom features set “SENSATION” apart. A divider console at center forward creates a separation between the salon and dining area. This console also conceals a large Plasma TV on a lift system.

The dining room is all the way forward and seats eight guests comfortably. Raised buffet cabinets port and starboard have Lucite fitted storage for china, stemware and silverware. An overhead “oval shaped” domed ceiling features pendant and indirect lighting. The perimeter soffits of the whole salon/dining area consist of matching cherry wood crown molding with indirect rope lighting on reostats.

Moving forward to starboard is the entrance foyer and day head. An alcove for a piece of art is located inboard of the double full-size glass entrance door allowing plenty of daylight. A hanging locker is slightly forward just aft of the galley

The “country style” galley is fullbeam with great exterior visibility. The galley on “SENSATION” features custom wood flooring with inlays, perimeter soffits; multiple overhead halogen lights, a large Plasma TV and multiple ceiling flush mounted speakers. Full-size top of the line stainless steel appliances and granite countertops throughout; a large pantry is located forward and down four steps just aft of the entrance to the forward VIP guest stateroom.

The en-suite forward VIP stateroom offers an island centerline queen berth and oversized walk-in wardrobe. There is a built-in settee and bookshelves as well as an oversized overhead hatch. A complete audio/video system includes a flat screen TV, separate satellite TV receiver & flush mounted overhead speakers.

From the main salon/dining area to port forward is the port side entrance foyer. A midship laundry center/pantry is inboard with a stacked washer/dryer, additional refrigeration, storage cabinet and several drawers. A ¾ door within this area allows access under the raised pilothouse (the dog house), where several components such as communications, air conditioning and electrical components are located.

Down from the port side entrance foyer via a circular stairwell is the lower midship foyer separating the master stateroom forward and the two additional guest staterooms aft.

The master suite has double entrance doors, a centerline king size berth with an upholstered headboard and two end table cabinets. A sofa is to port and a large dresser is opposite. Four portlights with screens allow daylight to filter in. A large Plasma TV is on the aft bulkhead. The cedar-lined walk-in wardrobe has a built-in safe and the complete audio/video equipment is complimented by a surround sound system with sub woofer. Indirect lighting on dimmers is behind the crown molding and under the berth. Wall-mounted reading lights & numerous overhead Halogen lighting groups are on dimmers.

His & hers master head forward is spectacular offering a Jacuzzi tub and a separate “Swedish style” shower at center.

Aft of the lower foyer are two additional guest staterooms, which are similar in size and offer spacious en-suite heads with showers. The port side cabin offers a queen size berth and the starboard midship guest cabin offers oversized twin berths. Both guest staterooms were designed with custom fabrics, matching bed spreads and Roman shades and feature flat screen TV’s with separate receivers, DVD & CD players, cedar-lined hanging lockers and abundant storage drawers. Form the forward port or starboard main deck foyers, one can access the side decks going forward to the “keyhole shape” seating and raised sun pad at the bow. Dual hydraulic windlasses for anchors, a large storage locker and flush-mounted speakers with sound control are part of the features in the bow area.
