Ambush is one of Hong Kong's most successful racing yachts and would be extremely competitive in any IRC fleet globally. Ambush's design was developed by Mark Mills as a progression from Tiamat/Ngoni/Mandrake and the King 40 with input from the owners who have very extensive offshore racing experience.
The boat was custom built by Macconaghy and the sail program was designed and developed by Dave Ullman who also tuned the boat and sailed upon it.
Construction: Hull is E-glass. Spars and rudder stock are carbon fibre.
The boat has been maintained from new by a full time professional crew.
