Awesome Massimo Paperini designed 112' performance sloop. Well maintained multi purpose yacht. Keen seller

Massimo Paperini designed the112' Ocean Runner - (Chinese: "DA RUN FA" ) - for an experienced yachtsman in Asia.  The original brief was for a fast Mediterranean styled multi purpose capable of winning the Taipei-Okinawa race as well as being used as a weekend family yacht.  However, as it turned out she never raced and was lightly used as a day sailor for the owner with friends and she made a few cruises to Japan, China, around Taiwan and into the China Sea. Her Lewmar hydraulic push button system allows for short handed sailing and passage making with 4 crew only.
Her carbon / rod rig is performance oriented and she got a new set of UK sails in January 2015.
Ocean Runner was built to a high specification in carbon composites in 2009 by the well known TCC Yard in Taiwan to a very high specification using exotic materials in her construction. Her interior follows the principle of function over form and is above all practical, not luxurious. Up to 14 sailing guests can be accommodated with ease and in comfort. There are two guest cabins aft with twin beds and ensuite bathrooms. Amidships there are crew bunks on each side (total 8) and forward there is a guest cabin with his/her bathrooms/changing rooms. Ocean Runner has a professionally equipped galley and separate crew mess. Her tender garage stores a large tender (Aquapro 8 persons)and the hydraulic door doubles as a large swim platform.
Professionally maintained the yacht is in excellent condition ready to go.

Yacht Description

"Ocean Runner" (In Chinese - 'Da Run Fa') is a 34 meter (112') sloop designed by Italian naval architect Massimo Paeperini.  Custom built at TCC Yacht Building in Taiwan in 2009 for an experienced yachtsman to excel in offshore ocean cruising.
She never raced and has been only lightly used for day sailing and short hops to Japan and China.  Her engine hours reflect this at only 1320 hrs. approx.(Genset 1504 hrs (port), 1578 hrs (stb)

She was designed and built to be both fast and stable in all sea conditions with her powerful sail plan and carbon reinforced composite hull. Her sleek underwater body is complemented by a bulb keel and efficient blade rudder.

Her flush decks are teak laid and very  spacious to offer  comfort at sea or great entertainment areas when at anchor.
The interior is purposeful and practical.

If required, with little effort, the interior could be made more luxurious and reflect to moods found on the Baltic and Swan yachts of her size.  A plan with a 4 cabin layout is included in this brochure.

Ocean Runner has a no thrills interior without compromising comfort and laid out to the specific wishes of the current owner.  The designer, Massimo Paeperini has originally drawn a 4 cabin layout included in this brochure.
It would not be difficult to make over the interior to the original concept with the specific wishes of the new owner to create a presentation interior.

From the cockpit companionway, one enters a spacious salon area with identical comfortable seating areas for 8 on port and starboard sides. Likewise there are two large navigation stations on either side fully equipped with all modern seagoing navtronics (mainly Furuno). The salon forward bulkhead is equipped with a large HR TV screen.

Going forward one enters in the galley which is fitted out with all relevant professional equipment to accommodate a full time chef. A large crew mess area to starboard accommodates the crew if relevant.

Forward of the galley is a large guest  cabin with twin beds and his/hers ensuite facilities which could serve as his hers changing rooms on day cruises.

Aft of the main salon are two identical areas with each 4 sea-bunks accommodating 8 sailors comfortably.

At the aft are two cabins, one port and one starboard each with twin beds and ensuite facilities.

All three cabins have TV flatscreens installed.

Summarising, Ocean Runner's accommodation is well matched to a group of 10-12 sailing guests with 2 crew. Whilst the accommodation is not luxurious, it is comfortable, functional and very spacious. Depending on the yacht's future owner, the interior could easily be made over to suit a more luxurious and less functional taste or set up for specific charter purposes.

Ocean Runner is a great daysailing yacht. She could easily be converted to become a successful charter yacht or a expedition yacht with a mission. Her strength clearly is the ease to entertain large groups of guests under way or at anchor.

The galley is very spacious and provides crew seating to starboard.
