Vessel is Seriously For Sale - All Offers are Encouraged!

Hemingway has amazing range & fuel economy

Speed    -  GPH   -    Range
11kts  -  15gph  -  4500 miles
21kts  -  50gph  -  2000 miles

HEMINGWAY is a fascinating custom sport-fish and at 90ft, she is truly one of a kind.   Her speed and fuel efficiency are unique for a yacht of this size.  She consumes 55 gallons/hour cruising at 21-22 knots and has a top speed of 29 knots. In addition, Hemingway has the ability to venture off on long trips due to ample fuel and water supplies, making her capable and comfortable for an owner with a sense of adventure. There are very few yachts in the world to compare her with.

HEMINGWAY is spacious in all respects.  Her cockpit, (2) salons, bridge, and engine room are all roomy and easy to maneuver around. You can comfortably walk around both sides of her CAT 3412-M engines.  Lift the floor hatches in almost any room to reveal a huge dry storage space in the bilges.  Most of these compartments are large enough for a person to climb inside.

The interior is laid out in four levels, each of them stepping down as you move forward. There are two sliding doors which open into the huge salon area and highlighted by two built-in varnished mahogany cabinets. One cabinet is half the length of the starboard side and houses a television, stereo equipment and storage compartments.  The other built-in is stair stepped and stretches the full length of the far wall, from port to starboard.  Directly above that are six huge tempered glass windows looking out over the expansive lower deckhouse and bow. The decor is neutrally colored and simple with a sofa, two armchairs, occasional tables and lamps.  The entire salon has large glass windows on all four sides.  The view is amazing.  There are also built-in blackout shades available for privacy.

Walking forward down the starboard steps, you enter the full width lower salon, which also opens to the galley on the next level down.  The Lower Salon area has an “L” shaped corner sofa, glass coffee table and four small arm chairs.  This area could also be a more formal dining area. The lower salon also has huge windows all along the starboard and port sides of the yacht.

Continuing forward takes you down another step into the galley area featuring a built-in dining table with booth seating on the starboard side and the galley itself to port.  The galley is equipped with a “Sub-Zero” refrigerator, separate Sub Zero freezer, Frigidaire stove and oven, and GE microwave oven.  Additionally there is a dual tank stainless sink with an added ISE hot water faucet.

The Master Stateroom is located in the aft section of the vessel and is accessed through a stairway in the main salon on the starboard side.  The Master Stateroom features a king sized bed, built in drawers and cedar-lined closets.  The master ensuite head has a toilet, bidet, sink and a bathtub with shower.

The yacht continues forward and down another step into the guest quarters.  There are identical cabins to port and starboard equipped with twin berths, built in nightstands, drawers and cedar lined closet storage.  Both cabins have ensuite heads that feature showers with three vertically aligned shower heads.  Both cabins have escape hatches to the foredeck.

Moving forward all the way forward is the final cabin.  It is full width and features twin bunks to port, a raised double bed to starboard. There are also built in storage drawers and cedar lined closets. Additionally, there is a stainless flip down step and an escape hatch to the foredeck in this cabin. There is a full ensuite head slightly forward with the same triple shower head configuration featured in the other cabins.

Entering the cockpit by way of the swim platform, you walk through the transom door and are immediately stuck by the sheer width of the yacht, over 20’ wide.  There are dual staircases (starboard & port), which take you from the cockpit up to the teak mezzanine, which is also deep and spacious.

HEMINGWAY is a unique Yacht-Fisherman vessel.  There are few other comparable yachts in the world.  She is truly unique at 90’ LOA and incredible beam and freeboard.  Originally purchased over five years ago by her present owner, she has been deliberately restored and upgraded with an eye towards creating a vessel that was capable of long trips, and engineered with redundant systems, for much of the machinery and equipment. The goal is to never miss a day of travel or fishing. Fast and fuel efficient for a yacht of this size,  HEMINGWAY burns 55 gph cruising at 21-22 kts and has a top speed of 29 kts. She has the ability to venture off on long trips with her ample fuel and water supply, making her capable and comfortable for an owner with a sense of adventure.
