REFIT HIGHLIGHTS

2010 Delta Marine Refit Highlights:

C1 was over-built in 2003 to the very highest specifications and with the best equipment available. During her 2010 refit she was upgraded with state of the art machinery and equipment to 2010 standards, making her as “green” as the latest equipment would allow, including catalytic convertors on both the new “greener” main engines and the new “green” generators, the addition of an inverter system to run silently at night, and even with a Panda generator. Her navigation, communication and entertainment systems were also brought to 2015 standards.

She was originally built with a 50 percent thicker steel hull than normal for her series, adding to her comfort at sea and at anchor, and her upgraded proactive stabilizers, keel addition and new bulbous bow only serve to enhance that sea keeping and comfort.

As further evidence of her incredibly high specification, in addition to hull plate thickness equal to a 200 ft. Feadship, she has bulletproof glass in every window, and upgraded ground tackle better than a yacht twice her size. Her massive lazarette, which houses the inverter system and batteries for silent running, is laid out in proper ship fashion with easy access all around. C1 carries an unusually large complement of water toys for a yacht of her size and category, yet they are all quickly and easily accessed and launched.

REMARKS

C1 was originally built with an unlimited budget. In 2009/2010 her third owner sent her to Delta Marine for a massive refit including new engines, generators and inverter system, the addition of a bulbous bow, keel extension, and a rebuild or replacement of nearly every system. As a result, C1 is better than a new boat at a fraction of replacement.

From 2014-2016, continued upgrades of system Include:

Inverter 60Hz system

New Panda 24 VDC 11KW Generator

Completely new Main Engine drive lines from prop to Main Engines

Complete replacement of the ship wide monitoring system replaced with  Maretron NEMA 2000

Computer navigation system

Ship’s network with 5 new access points

New phone system

All new exterior canvas, awnings and covers

AV system with Synologic movie server

All new pantry refrigeration system

Pantry standalone A/C system

New water makers

New Frequency Converter

24 KVA Generator Load Bank

New Main Switch Board Power Management System with automatic gen starts and gen load sharing
