While the global large yacht industry continues to build strategy to cross market within luxury categories, YATCO has spent the winter of 2016 providing its prestigious member companies with a by- invitation intimate experience at the International Polo Club in Palm Beach County, Florida on select Sundays from January-April 2016. The final field-side event was held this past Sunday as attendees watched the United States Polo Association’s (USPA) 112th U.S. Open Polo Championship.
“YATCO continues to find ways to reach out across lux audiences to create synergies bridging the yachting enthusiast and professional with car, jewelry, private aviation, elite sports, and more,” says Steven Myers, YATCO Founder and CEO. “During the 2016 winter polo season, we provided complimentary tickets to loyal YATCO members and encouraged them to bring their customers, friends and families for this entertaining and singularly privileged pastime. With hooves pounding as a backdrop, a wide representation of YATCO members donned sunhats, sipped Paul-Etienne Saint Germain champagne and enjoyed light bites while reveling in this crossover enthusiast pastime.”
YATCO is known for its successful brand outreach. In addition to celebrating the lux lifestyle with its Polo parties, YATCO also holds events at most major yacht shows that capitalize on market integration. Called YATCO Connect, these events also bring harmonious audiences together while uniting business with enthusiast.
YATCO members attending the 2016 Polo season included Burgess, Cheoy Lee Shipyards, Marshall Islands Maritime & Corporate Registries, IYC, Willis Marine Insurance, Denison Yacht Sales, Concord Marine Electronics, United Yacht Sales, Northrop & Johnson, Merle Wood & Associates, and more.
