As the largest boat show on the Gulf Coast, the annual St. Petersburg Power & Sailboat Show takes place at the Duke Energy Center for the Arts Mahaffey Theater Yacht Basin and the Albert Whitted Park in St. Petersburg, Florida. The Tampa Boat Show was for a long time the longest-running and largest boat show in the area and offers hundreds of boats on display from top brands from all over the globe. The boats were displayed on an off the water, and offered a chance to board and learn about many types of yachts and boats face to face. The Tampa Boat Show also offered marine gear on display and includes an informative lineup of seminars and family-friendly activities. As of 2022, the Tampa Boat Show has merged with the St. Petersburg Power & Sailboat Show to form the largest boat show in the area.
The exciting power and sailboat show features a lineup of innovative powerboats and sailboats that are both on water and land, with a 40,000 square foot tent that hosts all types of marine gear.
The show displays both new and brokerage boats, and includes center console fishing boats, yachts, sailboats, and even kayaks. All these watercrafts are on display along with a large selection of marine gear and accessories. The St. Petersburg Power & Sailboat Show also offers programming for visitors that include seminars on topics such as fishing, boat maintenance, and the cruising lifestyle. There are also some programs available for families and children. As of 2022, the St. Petersburg boat show merged with the Tampa Boat Show, creating the largest boat show on the Gulf Coast.
