Making its debut appearance at the Palm Beach International Boat Show last week, the new wallypower58X builds on the hugely successful wallypower58 model, with added powerful outboard propulsion thanks to four Mercury Verado V12 600 outboard engines supplying 2,400hp.

Recalling similar lines to the wallypower118, the new Wally Yachts model features sleek, sharp, angular lines giving a stealth look to the deckhouse. Smooth glass windows encase the cockpit offering unobstructed views to the captain and the ultimate level of privacy for those onboard.

Innovative Design Features

With an impressive four 600hp Mercury Verado V12 engines featured on the aft deck, much attention to detail was given here to ensure no bulky interruptions to the design for even the most discerning owner. Fold-down aft bulwarks and a large four-person sunpad turn the aft into a beautiful beach club. Wally’s innovative hydraulic passarelle can double as a bathing ladder for those who want to make the most of their time splashing in the sea.

As Stefano de Vivo, Managing Director of Wally shares, “Wally stands for avant-garde, so it should come as no surprise that we have found a way to unite the very latest in outboard performance with the essential access to the water that the wallypower line provides. Exhilarating speed from 2,400hp of motors, peerless handling and a true spirit of enjoying what nature has to offer – these are all hallmarks of Wally yachts.”

While moving to the foredeck, the wallypower58X comes equipped with a new “Magic Porthole,” which uses camera images of the complete exterior view, projected onto large screens on the interior. Thus, privacy is completely protected, without ever having to miss a view.

“In common with the very first wallypower, the new wallypower58X has a hull form dominated by double chines and a bow which meets the water with a smooth, swooping line that extends all the way aft,” says Luca Bassani, Wally Founder and Chief Designer. “This yacht will appeal to all those who appreciate purity of design and have the experience to understand already how they will use the boat. With its two supremely comfortable double cabins, the wallypower58X opens up a whole new realm of cruising possibilities for couples, families and friends alike who may not wish to spend every night ashore.”

Versatility at Every Corner

Thanks to her glass exterior, guests can enjoy being on the water, regardless of the weather. Unobstructed views mean you can stay inside amongst the large flanking benches, able to fit up to 12-16 guests, or in the large dining area, perfect for hosting.

Accommodation can be found below deck where natural light pours in thanks to the glass above. A full beam ‘double saloon’ sits port side, with a day head and separate shower. While the master cabin sits aft, featuring a queen-size bed and ensuite bathroom with a large, standalone shower. The wallypower58X offers a ‘flexi-guest’ layout with the option to have a one-cabin configuration with a larger saloon, or second guest cabin for when traveling with guests. For the latter, the guest cabin would be located on the port side amidships and the saloon to starboard. This allows for spacious overnight accommodation for up to four adult guests onboard, with direct access to the day head from the guest cabin.

The large sunpad spans the aft deck, offering ample seating for four, with an optional sun awning to cover the deck in shade at the touch of a button. Deep side decks run alongside, creating a second sun lounge on the foredeck.

Every inch of the new wallypower58X has been designed to optimize space and privacy whilst onboard.

While at the Palm Beach International Boat Show, the team also announced the sale of the wallywhy100 to a proud new American owner.
