Riva Launches Third Riva 50Metri in Ancona

Riva Superyachts Division launched the third hull in the 50Metri series in Ancona, Italy with the yacht’s owner in attendance.

Riva Superyachts Division has launched the third hull in the 50Metri series in Ancona, Italy with the yacht’s owner in attendance, who already owns a Riva. Building on the successful Caravelle and Atlantic series motor yachts, the 177.1ft yacht embraces the allure of a mega yacht with Riva’s “classic stylistic hallmarks, bringing together the finest craftsmanship with the most advanced technology.”

Designed in collaboration with Officina Italiana Design for the interior and exterior design, with naval architecture by the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. The steel displacement hull and aluminum superstructure spans across five decks and can accommodate 10 guests and nine crew members. Her unique profile features horizontal bands running from stern to bow in a metallic silver to give it a striking look, with clean and elegant lines.

Plenty of deck space allows for easy lounging both inside and out, while creating a harmony between the exterior and interior spaces. The main lounge can be opened completely to create a large open space running from the cockpit onto the main lounge forward with a wide corridor on the starboard side. A large 120sqm sundeck, can be partially sheltered if you so desire, while guests can relax in comfort and style while taking in one stunning view after the next in the main lounge areas and hydromassage pool.

The Riva team shares, “The generous interiors welcome guests with refined decor inspired by Riva’s unique story: polished steel components and chiaroscuro interplays between tones of grey and mahogany segue from stern to bow, creating a continuum across all the settings, with a design that perfectly incorporates function and aesthetics.

The Riva Superyachts Division team currently also has a Riva 54Metri in build with a scheduled delivery date of 2025.
