One of Southeast Asia’s premier yacht shows is back after a two-year hiatus. 

This week, the Thailand Yacht Show returns. The largest maritime event hosted in the country, this year it has unveiled an innovative new format that splits the show into two parts over the year.

  • A more industry-focused show will take place this week from 9th – 12 June in Pattaya and
  • An additional event will be organized in December at the start of the region’s charter season.  

The Go-to-Place for Superyachts and Charter in Asia

The event is supported by the Thai government and is committed to making Thailand the principal yachting destination in Asia, and the go-to place for superyacht owners and charter guests in the winter season. In November 2021, Thailand removed all travel restrictions to the country following the COVID-19 lockdown and has introduced several yacht-friendly legislations to allow the yachting industry to flourish in recent years.  

The event is supported by the Thai government and is committed to making Thailand the principal yachting destination in Asia, and the go-to place for superyacht owners and charter guests in the region. 

The event this week will see over 50 yachts on display with key builders such as Azimut Yachts, Beneteau, Custom Line, Fairline Yachts, Horizon Yachts, Lagoon Catamarans, Prestige Yachts, Princess Yachts, Riva, Sanlorenzo and Sunseeker exhibiting throughout the show. Fairline Yachts is expected to launch its Squadron 68 at the show. Brokerages Asia Yachting, Boat Lagoon Yachting (BLY) Infinite Yachts – Sunreef, Northrop & Johnson Asia, and Simpson Marine also have a strong presence at the show. An exclusive Princess Yachts distributor, BLY will be displaying the first Princess Y78 model to make Pattaya its home port throughout the event. 

Unique Family-Friendly and Luxury Lifestyle Atmosphere

The Thailand Yacht Show stands out for its packed social program and variety of family events, from sailing lessons to a dedicated ‘kid zone.’ As the event organizers explain, “The event’s distinct format not only provides a unique sales and marketing platform for yachting and luxury lifestyle professionals, but also an opportunity for local residents to sit back and unwind with friends and family after the busy festive period in a relaxed yet refined setting.”
